Hello everyone! We are thrilled to announce the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy as the official charity of Favor Your Day! Our company values have always geared us towards supporting growing families to live the healthiest and most organic lifestyle they can. We also encourage parents to interact with their kids in ways that not only benefit the family but benefit the environment too.
We searched for weeks trying to find the perfect charity for us. One that best coincided with our company's values and, with our showroom located right along the Brooklyn Bridge waterfront, we realized the answer was right in front of us...literally! The conservancy has worked for over 30 years to bring Brooklyn Bridge Park to life and we are so grateful for all their efforts that, effective immediately, Favor Your Day will donate 5% of each design project's profits to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. As our client, you can feel proud knowing that when you choose Favor Your Day, you are also supporting a dynamic and vibrant space that enriches so many lives.
The Conservancy began as a grassroots advocate, bringing together residents, government, and local supporters to transform an abandoned waterfront into the park you see today. Now an essential supporter, the Conservancy works in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park to ensure that the Park reaches its full potential as a dynamic and vibrant public space for all of Brooklyn, New York City, and beyond. With the help of the community, the Conservancy produces diverse and innovative programming for Park visitors and cultivates volunteer and philanthropic support of this special place on the Brooklyn waterfront. Since 2000, more than 1,600,000 visitors have enjoyed the Conservancy’s free, public programs in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
They also host free events every week to keep the community engaged such as kayaking, music, soccer, history, movies, fitness, swimming and more. We can’t wait to start attending their events and we can’t wait to start doing our part to inspire the local community to conserve and protect the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park we have today.
